Philosophy
We believe that every child is unique and special, and our philosophy is centered around the idea that children learn best through play and exploration. We believe that children should be able to express themselves freely and develop their individuality, while also learning to share, cooperate, and respect others.
Program Structure
Our half-day morning program is designed to provide a balance of structured and unstructured activities, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace. Our bi-weekly theme topics and hands-on educational activities keep learning fun and engaging. Our expert teachers ensure that children receive the attention and care they need, with a low adult-to-child ratio of between 1:4 and 1:6.
Activities and Curriculum
We offer a range of activities and curriculum areas to promote cognitive development, including science and the natural world, cognitive development, self and social development, fine motor development, language and literacy, and physical development. Our children engage in stimulating sensory play, musical and creative activities, and hands-on experiments to develop their skills and knowledge.
Health and Safety
At Learn & Discover Preschool, the health and safety of our children are our top priority. We maintain a clean and safe environment, with HEPA air purifiers, increased ventilation, and CO2 monitoring to minimize the spread of airborne illness. Our teachers and staff are vaccinated for flu and Covid-19, and we require masks to be worn when indoors during periods of substantial community transmission. We also provide masks for students free of charge.
