Our story began when Lou and Edith Irwin opened their first coin shop in Cleveland Heights, next to the Cedar-Lee Theatre. After years of success, they moved to Van Aken Shopping Center in Shaker Heights, where they coined the name "Shaker Coin Shop, Inc." The family business continued to grow and thrive under the leadership of Lou and Edith, until their passing. Their son, Jim Irwin, took over the business and has been running it ever since.
