Who We Are

The Family & Community Christian Association (FCCA) is a beacon of hope and empowerment for families, children, and the community in Meadville and Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Founded on Christian values, we believe in fostering a spirit of unity, connection, and opportunity for all.

Our Mission

Our mission is to:

• Provide quality programs and services that promote early childhood development, family empowerment, and community outreach.
• Build meaningful partnerships with local organizations and individuals to strengthen our impact.
• Promote positive values and character development in children and adults.
• Foster a sense of belonging and support within our community.

1. Early Childhood Development

• Pre-K Counts: A state-funded program offering high-quality early childhood education to eligible 3- and 4-year-old children.
• Early Learning & Child Development: Resources and workshops to support child development in all areas.

2. Family Empowerment

• Family Engagement Programs: Workshops, support groups, and parenting resources to strengthen families.
• Community Outreach: Events and initiatives that bring people together and foster a sense of connection.

3. Community Development

• Community Outreach & Advocacy: Working with local organizations to address community needs and promote positive change.
• Volunteer Opportunities: Opportunities for individuals and families to contribute their time and talents to our programs and events.

4. Educational Support

• Academic Enrichment Programs: After-school programs and tutoring opportunities to support student success.

5. Support & Advocacy

• Regina Merritt Scholarship Fund: Providing financial assistance to families facing hardship.
• Health & Nutrition Programs: Resources and referrals to address health and nutritional needs.
