The Milwaukee Regional Medical Center (MRMC) is a nonprofit consortium of health care institutions that aims to provide a comprehensive range of health and wellness services to the residents of Wisconsin. As regional destinations for quality adult and pediatric care, life-saving research, and world-class education, MRMC's institutions are at the forefront of delivering exceptional medical services and advancing medical knowledge.

MRMC's member organizations include Children's Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, Medical College of Wisconsin, and Associate Member: Versiti Blood Research Institute. These organizations are united by a shared mission of excellence in patient care, medical education, life science research, and community service. Through their collective efforts, MRMC is able to deliver high-quality care to patients while also training the next generation of medical professionals and conducting groundbreaking research.

MRMC's Member Organizations

Children's Wisconsin is a pediatric medical center that provides a full range of health services to children and families. With more than 600 physicians, it is one of the largest pediatric providers in the nation and is consistently ranked among the best children's hospitals in the country.

Froedtert Hospital is a regional teaching hospital that provides a full range of health services to adults and children. With over 1,600 physicians and 9,000 employees, it is one of the largest hospitals in the state and is committed to delivering exceptional care to its patients.

The Medical College of Wisconsin is a major academic institution that is dedicated to the education and training of the next generation of medical professionals. With a faculty of over 2,000 physicians and scientists, it is a leader in medical education, research, and clinical care.

The Versiti Blood Research Institute is an associate member of MRMC that is dedicated to the study of blood and blood-related disorders. Its research focuses on improving the understanding of blood and blood-related diseases and developing new treatments for these conditions.

MRMC Executive Team

The MRMC executive team is led by Bob Simi, the executive director of MRMC. Bob joined the organization in 2014 and brought with him over 25 years of organizational leadership experience in public, private, and not-for-profit organizations. Bob has held leadership roles in the commercial construction industry, the United States Marine Corps, and various levels of government. His ability to build relationships has been instrumental in advancing MRMC's status as Southeast Wisconsin's only academic medical center.

Rachel Stauffer, the vice president of finance, joined MRMC in 2023 after nearly twelve years at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Rachel has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare, banking, and service industries where she has held leadership roles in finance, accounting, and business operations. Her expertise in budget and finance matters is an invaluable asset to MRMC.

Mark Geronime, the vice president of operations, joined the MRMC executive team in 2016 after a distinguished 25-year career in the United States Navy. Mark's extensive leadership experience in the military and his expertise in operations management have been instrumental in the smooth functioning of MRMC's operations.
