Stuart Martial Arts Center is a renowned martial arts school located in Stuart, Florida. We have been proudly serving our community since 1986, offering traditional martial arts training to people of all ages. Our Services
At Stuart Martial Arts Center, we offer a wide range of martial arts classes, including:
- Little Samurai: This 30-minute class is designed specifically for children aged 4 to 6, with fun activities that develop focus, listening skills, coordination, and balance.
- Aikido: Our Aikido classes focus on defenses against grabs and strikes by redirecting your opponent's energy to subdue them.
- Kids Karate: Our Kids Karate Class is for children aged 7 to 12, aimed at building strength, developing better physical fitness, and teaching respect, discipline, and self-defense skills.
- Iaido: Iaido classes are offered twice a week, focusing on the art of drawing and sheathing a sword, with live blade training as you progress toward your black belt.
- Teen & Adult Karate: Our Teen & Adult Karate classes are 60-minute traditional karate training sessions, aimed at teaching self-defense, culture, and history of the Japanese martial art of karate.
Our Instructors
Our instructors are highly skilled and experienced martial artists, with a passion for teaching and training. They are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment for all students, regardless of age or skill level.
Our senior instructors include:
- Kaicho Dennis Fritchie: The head of the International Budo Renmei Organization, Fritchie Sensei has over 50 years of martial arts experience.
- Sr. Instructor Isaac Florentine: With over 45 years of martial arts training, Florentine Sensei has trained all over the world and specializes in karatedo.
- Sr. Instructor, Aikido, Iaido, Karatedo Ted Gonzales: Gonzales Sensei has been training in martial arts for over 40 years and teaches karatedo, aikido, and iaido classes.
- Sr. Instructor, Aikido, Karatedo Robert Cook: Cook Sensei has over 35 years of martial arts training and teaches both adult and kids classes on a regular basis.
- Sr. Instructor Aikido, Karatedo Mark Dye: Dye Sensei has over 35 years of martial arts training and is currently the dojocho (manager) of Stuart Martial Arts Center.
- Instructor, Aikido Roger Eder: Eder Sensei has over 20 years of martial arts training and teaches aikido classes.
- Instructor, Aikido, Iaido Mark Allen: Allen Sensei has over 20 years of martial arts training and teaches aikido and iaido.
- Instructor, Karatedo, Aikido, Iaido Jeffrey Reimer: Reimer Sensei has over 35 years of martial arts experience and teaches a variety of classes on Saturday mornings.
- Dojo Cho, Instructor, Aikido, Karatedo Brian Wyble: Wyble Sensei has been training with Stuart Martial Arts Center for nearly 8 years and is passionate about his martial arts training.
