Handyman Heroes

Handyman Heroes is a multi-capability handyman business servicing North Central, Upper Cape Cod, and the South Coast of Massachusetts. Our roots are in support of homeowners with small home maintenance-type projects - the kind of jobs most established contractors won't return your call about - and that many property owners lack the expertise (or time) to do themselves. But our services extend to the commercial world, where we address everything from cosmetic to structural repairs.

Our History and Mission

We, Handyman Heroes, are a family-owned, local (non-franchise, unaffiliated with "copy-cats" who "borrow" our name). Our business was founded in 2002 and has grown considerably during the past 22 years. We provide a full spectrum of services ranging from minor repairs, through major home renovations (bathroom and kitchen remodels, deck building & repair, as well as fire & water rehab). In 2006, we expanded our services to include a housekeeping capability (Housekeeper Heroes, which we're in the process of divesting) that cleans homes and tackles custom projects such as home organization, window washing, laundry, as well as post-construction cleaning. And, we have a lot of expertise working with seniors in their homes.

Our Services

Our company fills a huge gap in the local service economy, has been written up in the regional press (Townsend Times, Groton Landmark, Harvard Hillside Press, Ayer Public Spirit, Pepperell Free Press, and Shirley Oracle), and has been enthusiastically embraced by local homeowners, realtors, and related businesses. We service a broad array of residential & commercial customer needs. Our residential customers know that "No job is too small for us" (though we do have a minimum charge). Known primarily for our services to homeowners, we have a rapidly growing segment of business in the retail property maintenance field, where we boast numerous national firms as steady customers. We have done everything for them from setting up retail displays for Sony Digital Cameras, and Wireless Zone cellular telephone stores, to repairing a ceiling for Radio Shack, a floor for Payless Shoes, custom manufacturing some cabinetry for Pier One Imports, and repairing the aftermath of a burglary at a Family Dollar Store.
