Thad Ellet Plumbing is a leading provider of plumbing services in Southern Illinois, with almost three decades of experience in the industry. Founded by Thad Ellet in 2008, the company has grown rapidly, necessitating several moves to accommodate the expanding staff and equipment. Thad Ellet is a seasoned plumber who specializes in service plumbing, trenchless sewer lining, and backflow prevention. Before becoming a plumber, Thad served his hometown of Carterville, Illinois as a firefighter and even considered a career in country music. Thad's wife, Kate, joined the team as Financial Manager in 2009, and the company has since grown to include a team of skilled technicians and support staff.

Our technicians wear booties to protect your floors, place their tools on mats, and always explain the nature of the problem and possible solutions before beginning work. We believe in transparency and integrity, and our technicians will never start a job without your approval or quote a price without first explaining the work involved.
Meet the Staff
Our team of dedicated professionals includes Kate Ellet, our Financial Manager, who analyzes and projects the company's short and long-term financial goals and strategies. We also have Zach Holder, who works in the shop to ensure that our plumbers have the parts they need to do their jobs. Ben Davison is our Shop Manager, who trains our team to manage the shop and equipment. Krista Kanady is our friendly receptionist who coordinates the plumbers and answers your questions.
Meet the Crew
Our crew of skilled plumbers includes Chad Reynolds, a pipelining expert with over 10 years of experience at Thad Ellet Plumbing. Chad excels at trouble shooting, new construction, tankless water heater installs, and operating excavating equipment. Tim Woods is a highly motivated student of plumbing who has gained a wealth of knowledge in his two years with us. His customer service, trenchless installation, and service technician skills are outstanding. Chad Moll is another experienced plumber on our team, and Dereck Bitner is a hard-working and dedicated member of our crew. Jackson Davis is a recent graduate of Herrin High School who started out as summer help but quickly became a full-time member of our team. Drake Lannom and Grant Ellet are also recent graduates of Herrin High School who are eager to learn everything they can about plumbing. Grant Ellet, Thad and Kate's son, specializes in managing our social media pages, editing our website, and producing commercials for TEP.
