Who We Are

Better Life Counseling Center, Inc. is a nonprofit, outpatient, non-denominational Christian counseling center for individuals, couples, and families. Our staff is comprised of highly trained and State Board licensed therapists. Underlying our strong commitment to quality psychotherapy is a Christian perspective, which influences the treatment of spiritual, relational, and mental health issues. Our counselors believe in creating a safe, confidential environment for individuals, couples, and families to share their story.

Couples Counseling

Better Life Counseling Center's counselors believe in the power of reconciliation. We encourage our clients to see the value in openness, honesty, humility, forgiveness, commitment, and meaningful dialogue in order to achieve healing and growth in relationships. Whether you are facing communication issues, relational conflict, infidelity, sexual issues, lack of intimacy and connection, or desire to build on existing strengths, we help couples pursue a more meaningful and purposeful relationship.

Premarital Counseling

The choice to marry is one of the most important decisions in life! Better Life Counseling Center helps couples prepare for the marriage journey utilizing the PREPARE/ENRICH program, the nation's leading premarital inventory and couples assessment tool. The main component of the program is an online survey that takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. From this assessment, our counselors will help couples to:

• Identify strengths and growth areas
• Explore personality traits
• Strengthen communication skills
• Resolve conflicts
• Reduce stress
• Compare family backgrounds
• Comfortably discuss financial issues
• Establish personal, couple, and family goals

Most couples complete 5 one-hour sessions at the affordable cost of $50 per session. The cost of the PREPARE inventory is $30 per couple.
