Since 2000, Idaho Tower Construction Company, LLC (ITCC) has been a leading provider of construction, installation, and infrastructure development for a more connected world. As a full-service communications construction company, ITCC specializes in raw-land and existing site construction for large enterprises, government agencies, and smaller corporate and private sector companies. ITCC is owned and operated by Kurt Funkhouser and Rusty Wallace, who bring over 40-years of combined experience in communication construction and management. Both started as basic tower hands and have extensive hands-on experience in all project components, including foundation excavation and construction, steel erection, antennae and line work, radio and shelter work, and grounding. Together, they have built over 500 rawland sites and have installed components on numerous existing sites.

ITCC has a team of well-trained tower climbers, all certified in tower climbing safety and rescue, and practicing 100 percent fall protection and OSHA compliance at all times. Along with their tower and rescue requirements, all employees are certified in CPR/First Aid, Radio Frequency Awareness, OSHA 10/30, rigging certs, operator certifications, and commercial driver's licenses.

ITCC has received recognition for its commitment to safety, including the Excellence in Safety Award from Black and Veatch in March 2011 and an A+ rating from General Dynamics in 2012 for its safety practices.

Our Locations

ITCC has three office locations to serve its customers better. The home office is based in Hailey, ID, while the Nampa office has over 6,000 sq. feet of warehouse on 3 acres of land. The Colorado office has 7,000 sq. feet of warehouse located centrally in downtown Denver. ITCC has built numerous raw-land, turn-key communication sites throughout Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Washington, and Oregon.

ITCC currently has 12 crews consisting of well-trained tower climbers, all equipped with state-of-the-art safety and test gear.
