He has completed contracts for prestigious companies such as Benson Industries and Pittsburgh Plate Glass, and has earned an Associate of Arts degree in Construction Technology.

In 1988, Marty and his wife Sallie assumed management of Specialty Glass, continuing and enhancing the business's full-service contracting operations. They oversee and manage all aspects of financial management, customer service, subcontracting, personnel, physical facilities management, and safety issues.
