Bennett Vineyards & Wine Company is a picturesque winery nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley in Cheshire, Oregon. Our primary focus is on creating artisanal Pinot Noirs that showcase the unique terroir of our vineyard and the passion of our winemakers.

Founded by Gene and Lisa Bennett in 2008, Bennett Vineyards is the result of a long-held dream to start a new chapter in their lives and create exceptional wines that reflect the beauty and fragility of the Pinot Noir grape. After a successful career in the global construction industry, the Bennetts left their home in San Diego, California, and embarked on a new adventure in the world of winemaking.

With the help of local vineyard consultants, the Bennetts planted their vineyard and began learning the art of winemaking from their expert neighbors in the Willamette Valley. They were drawn to the challenge of growing Pinot Noir, a finicky grape that requires meticulous care and attention to detail. Their 85-acre farm, with its rolling hills, pond, and Bear Creek, which runs diagonally through the property, proved to be an ideal location for growing Pinot Noir.

The Bennetts are committed to sustainable farming practices and have partnered with local conservation groups to work on creek restoration. They believe that a vineyard is an expression of the place and the farmer, and they take great care to nurture each vine individually to yield grapes that achieve optimal ripeness and sugar levels.

Our Wines

At Bennett Vineyards, we specialize in handcrafted Pinot Noirs made exclusively with estate-grown grapes. Our wines are custom crushed, made in limited quantities, and presented only at our tasting room. From grapes to bottle, our wines are lovingly crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail.

We believe that great wine starts in the vineyard, with fruit that is hand-picked to avoid bruising the berries. The grapes are then crushed the same day, and the juice is fermented in carefully selected French oak barrels. Our wines are aged for just the right amount of time in the barrel before bottling.

We offer a range of Pinot Noirs, each with its own unique flavor profile and personality. Our 2012 Pinot Noirs, including the complex and expressive Lucky 7's, are still available and have only improved with age. We look forward to sharing our wines with you and helping you find the perfect bottle to suit your taste.

Tasting Room

Our tasting room is located in Cheshire, Oregon, just outside of Eugene. We offer sweeping views of the valley and a casual country setting where you can enjoy a glass of your favorite Bennett Vineyards wine. Our tasting room is open Saturdays and Sundays from Noon to 5 pm.

We have indoor seating, as well as a heated tent and outdoor seating with plenty of picnic areas. We offer local beers on tap, and occasionally have food trucks at our music events. You are welcome to bring your own food or enjoy a cheese plate available for $15.

We are now closed on Fridays but will begin opening on Fridays Memorial Day Weekend. We are excited to announce our first Friday band, The BrewKats, from 5-8 pm on Friday, May 24th. We will also be starting our Friday night Cruise Ins, so start thinking about getting your cruisers ready for some food, music, wine, and fun.
