Our 18-hole inland course, established in 1895, offers a unique and challenging golfing experience amidst the breathtaking scenery of Acadia National Park.

Our Story

The Northeast Harbor Golf Club has a rich history that spans over 125 years. Founded in 1895, the club has undergone several transformations, with the original 9-hole course designed by JG Thorpe and later expanded to 18 holes by Arthur Lockwood and Herbert Strong. The course has been meticulously maintained and restored over the years, with the most recent restoration taking place in the mid-1970s. Today, the course is a testament to the club's commitment to providing an exceptional golfing experience to its members and guests.

The course is defended and defined by its rough-and-ready nature, which includes acutely pitched putting greens, elevation changes, granite outcroppings, and knee-high fescue.
