History of UCHS

Unity Christian High School was founded in 1909 with a commitment to providing a Bible-based education. Over the years, the school has grown and evolved, but it has always remained true to its mission and core values. Today, Unity Christian High School is a thriving community of learners who are committed to proclaiming the lordship of Jesus Christ in all aspects of life.

Teaching for Transformation

At Unity Christian High School, we believe that education should be more than just preparing students for college or careers. We believe that it should transform lives. That's why we have embraced the Teaching for Transformation (TfT) approach. TfT is a framework for Christian education that seeks to integrate faith and learning in order to transform students' hearts and minds. Through TfT, we aim to help students develop a deep understanding of the Christian faith and to learn how to apply it to all areas of life.

Our Programs

Unity Christian High School offers a wide range of academic, athletic, and co-curricular programs. Our academic program includes a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, as well as a variety of electives and advanced courses. Our athletic program includes a wide range of sports, including football, basketball, soccer, and track and field. Our co-curricular programs include music, drama, art, and a variety of clubs and activities.

Academics

In addition to our core curriculum, we offer a variety of electives and advanced courses that allow students to explore their interests and talents. Athletics

Our athletic program is an integral part of the Unity Christian High School experience. We offer a wide range of sports, including football, basketball, soccer, and track and field. Our teams compete at the varsity, junior varsity, and freshman levels. Our coaches are committed to helping students develop their skills and achieve their full potential. Through athletics, we aim to teach students about teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance.

Co-Curriculars

Our co-curricular programs offer students the opportunity to explore their interests and talents beyond the classroom. We offer a wide range of activities, including music, drama, art, and a variety of clubs and organizations. These programs provide students with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, build relationships, and serve their community.

Junior Knights

Our Junior Knights program is designed for students in grades 6-8. The program provides a transition between elementary school and high school, preparing students for the academic, athletic, and co-curricular programs at Unity Christian High School.

Booster Club

Our Booster Club is a group of parents, alumni, and friends who are committed to supporting Unity Christian High School. The Booster Club provides financial support for our athletic and co-curricular programs, as well as volunteer support for events and activities.
