Berks Area Youth Recreation, Inc. (BAYRIC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing enriching programs for the youth of Berks County and beyond. Established in 2000, BAYRIC has been a steadfast pillar in the community, fostering growth, development, and positive experiences for countless children. We believe that every child deserves access to opportunities that empower them to reach their full potential, cultivate essential life skills, and become contributing members of society.

Our Services

BAYRIC offers a wide array of programs and services that cater to the holistic development of children.

Our flagship program is the Youth Summer Camp, which has become a beloved tradition for families in Berks County. The camp provides a vibrant and engaging environment for children to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. We offer a variety of camp experiences, including day camp and resident camp, each designed to cater to different age groups and interests. Our environmental programs at camp are particularly impactful, instilling strong values in youth while encouraging exploration and appreciation for the natural world.

In addition to summer camp, BAYRIC offers year-round programs that focus on Youth Leadership Opportunities. We believe in empowering young people to become confident leaders and responsible citizens. Through workshops, training sessions, and mentorship opportunities, we equip youth with the skills and knowledge they need to make a difference in their communities. Our Fundraising Opportunities and Volunteer Opportunities are open to the community, allowing individuals to actively contribute to our mission and make a tangible impact on the lives of our youth.
