Welcome to Davis Martial Arts, a family-owned business dedicated to fostering a family-centered atmosphere where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can learn and grow. Our story began in 1996 when members of the Davis family embarked on their martial arts journey in Tae Kwon Do. We soon transitioned to Tang Soo Do and started training under the guidance of Grandmaster T.H. Kim and the Global Tang Soo Do Association. This relationship inspired us to establish our own Tang Soo Do School, which has since grown into a thriving community of martial artists.
Our mission is to strengthen our community by developing each individual through various physical, mental, and emotional aspects. We aim to enhance self-esteem, leadership skills, and respect while fostering powerful defensive skills, physical strength, effective teaching abilities, self-confidence, health, and the peaceful resolution of conflicts. Our positive, rewarding, safe, and stimulating environment ensures that students enjoy their journey while remaining disciplined and respectful.
Our Team
*KJN SS Kim*: KJN SS Kim is the president of the Global Tang Soo Do Association and an 8th Dan Grandmaster. He played a crucial role in introducing Tang Soo Do to Europe and western cultures. We are privileged to have him teach our kids and adult classes.
*Sa Bom Nim Jane Davis*: Sa Bom Nim Davis began her training in 1996 and tested for her 1st-degree black belt in 2002. She became an instructor in 2004 and has since earned the title of Master Instructor and a 5th-degree black belt. She has a special affection for children with special needs and leads with a balance of toughness, love, fun, discipline, and respect.
*Sa Bom Nim Juanita Stevens*: Sa Bom Nim Stevens started her Tang Soo Do journey in 1997. She specializes in teaching 4-7-year-olds and has earned the rank of 4th-degree black belt and Master Instructor.
