Our History
Umbiance Center for the Performing Arts was established with the goal of helping to inspire the next generation of artists. We believe that by providing a quality dance program, our dancers will not only develop their skills but also self-confidence, self-worth, and the strength to work towards their personal goals. We aim to touch the lives of our dancers and help them realize that they have something unique to offer the world if only they have the courage to dream and the determination to make their dreams come true.
Our Services
We offer a range of services, including acting, dancing, vocal, and piano lessons. Our pre-professional training is designed for students who want to train at the next level and are considering careers in the arts. We also offer intensive workshops, summer camps, and outreach programs for special needs and at-risk students. Our UCPA Company Dancers are an elite group of pre-professional young dancers available for performance opportunities in the local community.
Our Outreach
At Umbiance Center for the Performing Arts, we are committed to expanding the reach of dance and theater arts to special needs and at-risk students. Our outreach programs, including the Leading Education Arts Program (L.E.A.P), aim to make a positive change in the lives of young people through the discipline of the performing arts. We believe that by hosting events, creative dance and theater workshops/classes, and partnering with local schools and organizations, we can build a supportive artistic educational environment where students from all backgrounds can develop to the best of their abilities.
