Guiding Steps Dance School

Guiding Steps Dance Studios is a dance school with a mission to see the arts restored to the wholesome creative place in society for which they were created. We are a Christian-founded studio with over 40 years of experience, dedicated to providing high-quality dance instruction in a safe and wholesome environment. Our commitment is to help each and every student reach their full potential, while fostering values of self-expression, creativity, and personal growth. We have three locations, two in the Adirondacks and one in Hawaii, to serve dancers of all ages and skill levels.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in a wide range of dance styles, from ballet to hip-hop. They are passionate about dance and dedicated to serving as positive role models for our students. Our staff understands the concerns of many parents regarding risque costumes and sensual body movements often associated with dance, and we work hard to create an environment that is respectful and appropriate for all students. Our instructors are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students to learn and grow.

Our Classes

We currently offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, kinder, kinderpop, cheer dance, company 1, company 2, adaptive & private lessons. We are thrilled to announce that we are now accepting Kinder Dance Ballet and Tap students on Wednesdays and Saturdays! Our Kinderdance Ballet and Tap classes are specially designed and tailored for children ages 3-5 years old. These classes will introduce your little dancers to the magical world of ballet and the rhythmic beats of tap in a safe and nurturing environment. Our classes are tailored to suit the unique needs and abilities of young dancers, ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable experience.
