Pickett Building Materials

Since 1982, Pickett Building Materials has proudly served contractors and homeowners in Oneonta, New York, and the surrounding communities. We proudly supply Oneonta's builders with the lumber, masonry, and tools they rely on for every project. Our retail store carries top-quality, trusted brands such as Nudura, Milwaukee, Marvin, Quikrete, IKO, and Metal Sales. Inside our store, customers find hand and power tools, windows, doors, and over 2,000 square feet of landscape displays. Our experienced team includes a Certified Building Materials Specialist who provides expert guidance, custom solutions, and hard-to-find special orders. We offer a diverse delivery fleet consisting of boom trucks, flatbeds, dump and box trucks, and tag-along forklifts to ensure timely service.

Through our affiliation with Otsego Ready Mix, we provide reliable concrete services using front and rear discharge mixers and specialized pump trucks. For added convenience, we provide store pickup, gift cards that never expire, and a special ordering service for hard-to-find materials. We also rent insulation blowers to support insulation projects on any build. At Pickett Building Materials, we believe in building long-term partnerships, not just completing transactions. Our commitment to service, quality, and community is what drives us and keeps our customers returning year after year.
