Here is a picture of me and my mother, Dottie, from 2015. Although we may have looked a bit different in 1986, our values and commitment to our business have remained the same. For nearly three decades, preserving and enhancing your artwork or family treasures has been of utmost importance to us. We approach each project with the creative touch of an artist and the skill of a master craftsman. Our customers are treated with the utmost care and respect, and each piece of work is handled as if it were a masterpiece.

The story of how we came to own Frame Designs is an interesting one. After I graduated from college with a degree in art education, I spent a year teaching art at an inner city vocational technical school. At the same time, my mother had moved to Fredericksburg to be closer to her children following the death of my father. I decided to leave Baltimore and move in with my mother. One night, we discussed our future plans and both agreed that we wanted to own a business. Given our backgrounds in art and frame shops, the decision to buy Frame Designs was an easy one. We purchased the business on November 10, 1986, and have been proud to serve our community ever since. As we approach our 35th anniversary in November 2021, we look forward to many more years of business.
