At Trail's End Homebuilders, we are a family owned and operated residential contractor based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our team specializes in designing and building custom homes, additions, and large-scale remodels throughout the Pike's Peak region.

Our Team

Our team is led by Shawn, our General Contractor, who has over 11 years of experience in construction and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is known for his compassion, thoroughness, and exceptional organizational skills. Shawn is respected within the building community for his character, trustworthiness, and authenticity.

Jennifer, our Home Design, Drafting, and 3-D Modeling expert, has degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering. She specializes in creating unique, livable plans that are customized to each family's needs. Jennifer's attention to detail ensures that the entire project comes together as one cohesive design that reflects each homeowner's personality and lifestyle.

We also work with a team of professional, friendly, experienced, and skilled sub-contractors. These include material suppliers, window suppliers, cabinet specialists, countertop and tile specialists, electricians, plumbers, framers, roofers, HVAC professionals, trim carpenters, metal workers, tile installers, concrete and foundation specialists, excavators, painters, and faux finishers. Through years of developing strong relationships with these trades, we are able to offer exceptional workmanship and value.

Design Philosophy

We strive to eliminate any wasted space or awkward areas in our designs, resulting in cost savings during construction and time savings while keeping the home clean. Each lot is unique, and we design each home to best utilize the views, natural light, and outdoor living spaces that each piece of land offers.

We also produce 3D modeling of home floor plans and exteriors to help our clients visualize their home while still in the design phase. This makes it easy to catch any imperfections and make modifications during the design phase, rather than during construction, which substantially reduces or eliminates costly changes.
