The Charles Mfg

Charles Mfg. was founded in 1982 by Warren, Ohio native Dave Frazier, a Mechanical Engineer and Manager at U.S. Steel Corporation. At that time, nontraditional fuels were increasingly being used for home heating but fireplace safety standards had not kept up with the alternative energy movement. There was a need for specialized venting products to improve both safety and efficiency. Our first fireplace fabrication was patented in 1983. This marked the beginning of a journey that would see us expand our capabilities and expertise across various industries, including power generation, automotive, and defense.

From humble beginnings, we have grown to become a leading provider of sheet metal fabrication services. Our comprehensive range of services includes CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Punching, CNC Forming, Shearing, Welding, and Powder Coating. We also offer Engineering Design Assistance and can handle prototype to medium-run size productions. Our focus on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) ensures that your parts are most easily and economically manufactured, reducing costs and lead times.
