Our story began in 1999 when our founder, Scott Taylor, a ceramic tiki artist and collectible enthusiast, opened the first Beachbumz Tiki & Gift Shop in Kihei, Hawaii. With over two decades of experience, we've been fortunate enough to build a loyal following of tiki enthusiasts and become a staple in the tiki community.

Our Story

Scott's journey into the world of tiki began in the early 2000s when he discovered a shared passion for tiki art and collecting. As his interest grew, so did his desire to create his own unique contributions to the world of tiki. In 2009, Scott teamed up with talented ceramic artist Will Herrera to co-found Tikipop & Beachbumz, a partnership that would bring their shared vision to life.

To create the perfect fusion of art and function, Scott and Will experimented with various ceramic techniques, ultimately developing a distinct style that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern inspirations. Their handcrafted pieces, ranging from functional ceramics to decorative sculptures, are meticulously designed to pay homage to the rich cultural heritage of tiki culture.
