Services
Irrigation system design
Green Lawn Irrigation offers comprehensive irrigation system design services tailored to each property's specific requirements. We consider factors like soil type, plant types, sun exposure, and water pressure to create customized solutions that provide proper water coverage. Our designs meet or exceed all local and state codes while promoting water conservation through efficient irrigation technology.
Sprinkler system installation
We provide professional sprinkler system installation using high-quality, industry-leading products and components. Our experienced technicians handle all aspects of the installation including trenching, piping, sprinkler head placement, and controller setup. We follow best practices like head-to-head coverage to ensure even water distribution while minimizing waste and maximizing landscape health.
Seasonal system maintenance
Our seasonal maintenance services include spring startups and winterizing to keep irrigation systems functioning properly year-round. In spring, we perform full system checks to prepare for the irrigation season. In fall, we drain systems to prevent freezing damage. Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of irrigation equipment.
Backflow prevention
We install, service, and repair all types of backflow preventers required by Connecticut law. These devices protect water supplies from contamination by preventing reverse flow from irrigation systems into public or household water supplies. Our expertise ensures compliance and safeguards against potential water quality issues.
Drip irrigation
We install drip irrigation systems that deliver water directly to plant roots through tubing and emitters. This method minimizes evaporation and runoff while promoting healthier growth and conserving water. Drip systems provide precise watering schedules and are particularly effective when installed in mulched landscapes where moisture retention is enhanced.
