Our services include refrigerated freight consolidation and delivery, truckload and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipping, and customs clearance. Our state-of-the-art refrigerated warehouse and cross-dock facility is located in Dell Rapids, South Dakota, and is strategically positioned to serve the Midwest region.

Refrigerated Freight Consolidation and Delivery

Our facility is designed to manage the complex process of refrigerated freight consolidation and delivery. We receive shipments from various sources nationwide, sort and reload product, and deliver it to food distribution warehouses across the central United States. This efficient process ensures that fresh produce is delivered quickly and safely, while reducing inventory levels and logistics costs.

State-of-the-Art Facility

Our 20,000-square-foot facility is designed to facilitate rapid unload and reload processes. The flow-through design of our refrigerated dock allows for efficient sorting and reloading of product. The facility is temperature controlled by zone and all dock area is refrigerated, satisfying the most demanding cold-chain requirements.

Our team has decades of experience in handling fresh product in kitchen, retail, transportation, and distribution environments. Our president, Rick Wallin, has extensive knowledge of the industry and is committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Midwest Fresh Logistics began operations in November 2016 and has quickly established itself as a leader in the refrigerated produce logistics industry. Our facility in Dell Rapids, South Dakota, has created jobs and contributed to the local economy.
