Our History

Dolan Insurance Agency was founded in 1983 by Joe Dolan, who entered the insurance industry after leaving the Navy in the 1940s. Prior to founding Dolan Insurance Agency, he worked for numerous insurance companies and agencies in the Boston area. Within a year or so, Joe purchased a small insurance agency in Framingham, Massachusetts, which eventually became the Dolan & Maloney Insurance Agency. Today, we are proud to continue Joe's legacy of providing personalized service and quality insurance products to clients throughout Massachusetts and beyond.

Meet Our Team

Our team at Dolan & Maloney Insurance Agency is made up of experienced and knowledgeable insurance professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible service to our clients. We believe that building strong relationships with our clients is key to providing the right insurance coverage, and we strive to make the process of finding the right insurance as easy and stress-free as possible.

• Patrick Tobiasson has been with Dolan & Maloney since 2007, specializing in personal and commercial lines of insurance. His unique sense of humor and expertise make talking about insurance surprisingly enjoyable.
• Tom Dolan, Jr. joined the agency in 2011 and specializes in personal lines of insurance. Prior to joining Dolan & Maloney, he was a professional ski instructor in northern New Hampshire.
• PJ Maloney joined Dolan & Maloney in 2008 and has extensive experience in personal and commercial lines as well as life and disability insurance.
• Phil Mulcahy joined the agency in 1990 and specializes in personal and commercial lines of insurance. Prior to joining Dolan & Maloney, he played in the National Football League.
• Kate Tobiasson joined the agency in 2019 and takes a holistic approach to insurance. Prior to joining Dolan & Maloney, she was an English teacher in Hudson, Massachusetts. Kate understands the unique needs of moms and local families.
