Making healthcare easy and available, one patient at a time.
Welcome to Indiana Martial Arts Center, a place where respect, self-control, perseverance, indomitable spirit, and courtesy form the foundation of our martial arts training. Our school is dedicated to teaching high-quality martial arts, not just focusing on technical skills but also on character development and leadership skills that are essential in learning Taekwondo.
Our classes are designed to be super-high energy and engaging, ensuring that the kids will have fun while learning and training. The skills we teach are valuable in a child's daily life, including respect, self-control, discipline, focus, cooperation, confidence, and integrity. These positive character traits will help kids at home, school, and on the playing field.
Our training is tailored to meet the needs of each child, as we understand that no two kids are the same. We gently push them to try new things, while allowing them to learn at their own pace and never forcing them to keep up with others. Our goal is to help them grow mentally and physically, and increase in their confidence, focus, concentration, fitness, stamina, and self-esteem.

Our History
Indiana Martial Arts Center opened its doors in Cicero, Indiana on September 3, 2013. Our school's goal is to teach high-quality martial arts, which leads to not only a high level of technical skills, but also the character development and leadership skills that are an essential part of learning Taekwondo.
Our owner, Jerry Isenhower, began his training in his hometown of Crothersville, Indiana when he was just 13 years old. During his three years with Sensei Brock, Jerry trained in Taekwondo and Shorin-Rye Karate. Work and relocation prevented him from continuing his training with Sensei Brock for nearly 30 years.
In 2002, Jerry and his daughter Rachael began training with Master Mike Marienthal in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jerry received his Black Belt on December 4, 2003. Jerry continued his training for 13 more years under Master Crays. During his training with Master Crays, he was exposed to AAU Taekwondo.
Jerry was an AAU Junior Olympic Team coach, AAU competitor, and AAU official. Jerry served as the Indiana State AAU Tournament director for several years, helping to put on the State Tournament each year. Jerry became an AAU Certified Official in 2010 and was exposed to the use of electronic scoring systems.
After seeing the cumbersome electronic software that was currently being used, Jerry decided to create a better, more efficient electronic scoring system. He developed the Quick 2 Judge Electronic Scoring Systems, which has made martial arts competitions more efficient and accurate.
