Our team, led by experienced owner and groomer Diana Trout, has been in the pet industry for over two decades. Our History

Our journey began in 1990 when Diana opened Cherry Acres Pet Care, a successful pet boarding and daycare facility that also offered professional grooming services. She then went on to open Happy Tails Pet Grooming in Denver, PA in 1994. In 2002, she launched Tail Chasers Mobile Grooming in the East Berlin area, which eventually grew into Tail Chasers Grooming and Pet Supply at its current location. In 2010, we expanded to an additional location in Gettysburg.

Our Expertise

Diana, our owner and lead groomer, is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Golden Retriever Club of America, Berks County Kennel Club, Berks County Dog Training Club, and Lenape Golden Retriever Club. She has been an active competitor in the dog show ring with her Golden Retrievers, participating in Confirmation, Obedience, and Field Trials.

Diana has attended numerous workshops accredited by the National Dog Groomer Association of America and has completed the Canine First Aid and Prevention of Disease programs at Cornell University. She regularly participates in trade seminars to stay updated on the latest trends in the pet grooming industry, ensuring that our services are always of the highest quality.
