Our History and Mission

BAR Construction Company began on February 4, 1976, founded by John Bonitz, Boyd Allred, and Ed Robinson. The company grew and was later sold to businessman Dick Howard, who recognized Glenn Hodges as the ideal person to carry on the company's legacy. In 1999, Glenn Hodges purchased the organization. Throughout its history, BAR Construction has been guided by the motto "never lie to a client, " which was first introduced by Founder Boyd Allred. This philosophy continues to be a cornerstone of the company's mission today.

We strive to create an environment where customers recommend us to others, subcontractors and suppliers are drawn to our integrity, and employees are accountable to each other. We believe in investing back into the company to support consistent improvement, growth, and employee safety.
