Susan Clouse, the founder of Susan Clouse Interior Solutions, is a multi-faceted designer who has been helping her clients fall in love with their comfortable and unique spaces through her work. With a degree in Interior Design and a successful career in software development under her belt, Susan launched her company in 2005. She is known for creating beautiful, yet functional spaces while providing a streamline and stress-free design process. Her expertise lies in creating interiors that resonate with each family, often referred to as a "therapist" by her clients due to her ability to make them feel relaxed and reassured during the potentially stressful remodel process.

Susan believes that outstanding design is possible no matter the budget and is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, certified as a kitchen and bath designer. Her practice is located in the SF Tri-Valley Area and she services the greater East Bay.

Our 4-Step Process

Our design process starts with careful listening, understanding our client's lifestyle and style preferences. We apply thoughtful planning and a careful attention to detail during the entire process, from concept to installation. We ensure a streamlined, enjoyable experience for our clients. The process begins with a one-hour initial consultation, where we discuss the scope of the project, timing, and budget, and listen carefully to understand the client's requirements and discuss the design process and fee structure. If the project and relationship make sense, we proceed with the design process, translating the client's ideas into a truly unique and functional design that meets their needs and budget. This includes drafting existing and new floorplans, along with an elevation plan and 3D rendering. Once the design is approved, we move on to the selection phase, where we help the client choose materials and finishes for their project.
