Our Story
Our journey began in 2011, when our founder, Liz Freitag, recognized the need for a dog daycare facility in Erie. As a passionate dog lover, Liz was determined to create a space where dogs could socialize, exercise, and thrive. With her own dog, Job, by her side, Liz worked tirelessly to build a team of trained handlers and create a facility that would meet the highest standards of quality and care.
Our Services
At Peninsula Pups, we offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of your dog. Our daycare program is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, and we accept dogs of all ages once they have passed our temperament test and meet our health requirements. Our facilities feature over 6,000 square feet of air-conditioned play space, separated into three areas by temperament and size, with rubberized flooring made from recycled rubber tires to reduce stress on your dog's joints, back, and muscles.
In addition to our daycare program, we also offer training classes, grooming services, and high-quality dog food at our facility. Our training classes are designed to help your dog become a well-behaved and well-adjusted member of your family, while our grooming services ensure your dog looks and feels their best. Our team of trained handlers is dedicated to providing expert care and attention to every dog that enters our facility.
