Welcome to 417 Escape Artist, your premier destination for exciting and challenging escape room adventures in Springfield, Missouri! Our locally-owned escape room center offers a unique and engaging experience for individuals, families, and groups of all ages. Escape rooms are themed, live-action, team-based games where players work together to gather clues, solve puzzles and riddles, and piece together a specific chain of events in order to 'escape' their locked room in a specific amount of time. At 417 Escape Artist, we take team building and group collaboration to a whole new level with each escape room adventure.

Our Escape Rooms

In each of our escape rooms, entertainment, mystery, and logic are blended together to create an amazing mix of fun and problem-solving. We have an escape room storyline and difficulty level for sleuths of all ages. From investigating a classic whodunit case to escaping a serial killer's basement lair, 417 Escape Artist has a room that will challenge and excite you and your fellow adventurers. Our rooms include:

• Ozark Howler: Take a hike through the beautiful Ozarks wilderness. After a while, you begin to hear strange noises and realize you are being stalked by the legendary Ozark Howler! Can you solve the puzzles and find a way to escape before it's too late?
• Deadly Seven: You and your team have been captured by a notorious gang of thieves known as the Deadly Seven. Can you escape their clutches and find the hidden loot before they return in one hour?
• Captured at Sea: Your ship has been taken over by pirates and you are being held captive. Can you find a way to escape and reclaim your ship before the pirates return?
• Queen City Express: You are on a train passing through Springfield, MO, when you discover a plot to rob the train. Can you stop the robbery and save the day?

All of our escape rooms are designed and built by 417 Escape Artist owner Ann Gilbert, and each room is completely unique and original to 417 Escape Artist. Even if you have been through an escape room story once, feel free to visit again with your fellow sleuths and try to beat the clock in another adventure!

417 Escape Artist owner, Ann, always dreamed of running her own business. She wasn't sure what her business would be, but she knew she wanted it to be fun! Ann had a blast going to her first escape room. She was immediately hooked and knew she wanted to bring the escape room experience to Springfield, MO. Ann designs, creates, and furnishes all of the rooms at 417 Escape Artist, ensuring that each room is truly handcrafted to challenge even the most seasoned sleuths.
