Dr. Xuan-Mai Thi Ta is a highly experienced Optometrist dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care to the St. Paul community. With over 25 years of practice, Dr. Ta brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Modern Eyewear Clinic. Her journey began in Vietnam, where she pursued her passion for optometry. Upon relocating to Minnesota, she was awarded a prestigious Masonic Scholarship, paving the way for her academic achievements.

Dr. Ta earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, demonstrating a strong foundation in the scientific principles underpinning eye health. She then went on to excel at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, obtaining her Doctorate of Optometry. To further specialize, she completed a rigorous Primary Care/Low Vision Residency program at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

This comprehensive training equipped Dr. Ta with the advanced skills and knowledge necessary to effectively diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions. Her expertise extends to primary care, low vision, and comprehensive eye examinations, making her a trusted resource for all vision-related concerns.
