Camp Jeanne d'Arc

Camp Jeanne d'Arc is a traditional summer camp for girls located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. For over 90 years, our camp has been dedicated to helping families build strong girls through faith, endurance, courage, and confidence. Our mission is to empower every individual girl to recognize her worth and develop into a confident leader.

Our History

Founded in 1922 by Ruth McIntyre, our camp has a rich history of providing a wholesome and inclusive environment for girls to grow and thrive. Our values of faith, endurance, courage, and confidence are woven into every aspect of camp life, from our activities to our traditions. Our directors, Sandy and Randy Abbott, are dedicated to continuing the legacy of Camp Jeanne d'Arc and providing a premier summer camp experience for girls ages 7-16.

Our Services

At Camp Jeanne d'Arc, we offer a range of services to ensure that every camper has an unforgettable summer experience. Our camp offers 2, 3.5, and 7-week sessions, providing flexibility for families to choose the length of stay that best suits their needs. Our activities include target sports, canoeing, horseback riding, mountaineering, sailing, and many more. We also have a range of traditions, including feather picking, shields, Fourth of July, and Christmas in July, which add to the fun and excitement of camp life.

Camp Life

Our camp is situated on 100 acres of woods, fields, and waterfront, providing a perfect outdoor playground for our campers. Our facilities include cabins, a bathhouse, barn, chapel, and many other amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our campers are encouraged to explore their talents, try new activities, and develop new skills in a supportive and nurturing environment.
