Since 1998, we've been proudly serving artisan breads, delicious desserts, and mouth-watering breakfast, lunch, and dinner options to our friends and neighbors in Jackson, Mississippi.

Our Story

Our journey began with a legacy. Sol Blumenthal, our founder's grandfather, was a skilled baker who perfected his techniques through two World Wars. In 1946, he opened Blumenthal's Bakery on Broad Street in Trenton, New Jersey, where he ran the business with his wife Deborah for twenty years. Fast forward to 1998, when Sol's grandson, Dan Blumenthal, along with his partner Jeff Good, opened Broad Street Baking Company & Cafe as a tribute to Sol and the legacy he left behind.

Our Food

We're committed to using traditional European recipes and techniques, revived from the Blumenthal Bakery, along with original creations by our talented team. Every loaf and pastry is made from scratch, with our own hands, using all-natural ingredients and no additives or preservatives. Our artisan bread is made in small batches, right here, every morning, just the way bread's supposed to be! From the croutons in your salad to the bread on your sandwich, you know you're getting the good stuff.

Our Bakery

Our bakery is where the magic happens. We offer a wide variety of sweet and savory treats, from classic croissants and danishes to custom cakes and pastries. Our Boozy Brunch Baskets are a favorite among our customers, and our King Cakes are a staple during Mardi Gras season. We also offer catering services for events and parties, so you can share the love with your friends and family.
