Our History

Kimal Lumber was founded in 1981 in Nokomis, Florida, by Al Bavry and Kim Pavkovich. The two had a vision of providing superior and unique lumber and building materials through an impeccable customer-centric culture. Over the years, Kimal Lumber has expanded to include a pre-hung interior door operation, an exterior window and door division, an engineered wood and truss manufacturing division, and a Design Center/Showroom. We have also added two additional lumber and building product centers in Englewood and Sarasota.

In 2018, Kimal Lumber was acquired by Gulfeagle Supply, a family-owned and managed roofing and building products business based in Tampa, Florida. This acquisition has allowed us to continue to grow and serve our customers, while maintaining the same commitment to quality and customer service that has always been a part of the Kimal Lumber legacy.

At each of our locations, you will find knowledgeable team members who are ready to assist you with your project and material needs. We also offer delivery services, so you can have your materials delivered directly to your jobsite.
