At Bare Energy, we pride ourselves on being a local, family-owned, and experienced solar company. That's why we started Bare Energy - to strip away the nonsense and provide a customer-centric approach to servicing your energy needs.

Our Story

Our founder, Justin Lee, has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with a passion for sustainable technology. He began his career as a general contractor, working on various projects that incorporated sustainable and clean building technologies, including solar installs. After moving to California, Justin recognized the opportunity to blend his expertise in construction, passion for sustainable technology, and experience working with home and business owners. And so, Bare Energy was born.

Our team is led by Justin, who is backed by his partner, Veronica Lee, who brings a unique blend of operational and service expertise. Veronica has a strong background in business and real estate, having run her family's construction and accommodations businesses for nearly 10 years. Her interest in renewable energy began when she was young, having grown up in the eco-conscious city of San Diego.

The Process

Send us a copy of your energy bill or grant us access to your online utility account. We'll review your energy usage and discuss any anticipated future changes. Using satellite technology, we'll design a custom solar array on the roof of your property that is best suited for your unique energy needs. We'll provide you with a detailed proposal, including production information and statistics, as well as the installer we choose for your project. Once you're ready to convert to solar, we'll walk you through the process, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.
