With dozens of sample and demo quilting and sewing projects on display throughout the store, we aim to inspire our customers and showcase new fabric, patterns, books, and tools.

Our Story

When I was a young girl, my mother taught my two sisters and I how to sew. From the start, I was captivated by the beauty of fabric, and when my mom took up quilting after we were grown, my sisters and I followed her example. I opened Sew Simple Quilt Shoppe in 2002, with a leap of faith and a passion for quilting. Even now, receiving new fabric shipments is like Christmas morning - I can't wait to see what's inside! We carry a diverse range of fabrics, including traditional, oriental, civil war, 30's prints, and batiks.

Our Unique Approach

What sets us apart is our commitment to creating a supportive and helpful atmosphere in our store. We host sewing groups every day of the week, where customers can come together, share ideas, and work on their projects. Even visitors from out of town comment on the sense of community and camaraderie that permeates our store. My main goal is to ensure that every customer feels appreciated and knows that we're here to help them with any sewing or quilting project, whether they've purchased materials from us or not.
