Our Story
Founded by Mabel Bason in 1930, Whitehall Antiques has been a trusted source for antiques in the Triangle area for over 90 years. The Lindquist family has been in the antiques business since 1974, taking over Whitehall Antiques in 1982. Today, we are proud to offer a wide selection of furniture, decorative accessories, art, silver, and more, ranging in style from Baroque to Mid Century Modern - there's something for everyone and at every price point!
Meet Our Team
Elizabeth R. Lindquist, Co-owner and President, has been a full partner in the business since 1999 and is now the President of Whitehall Antiques. She is a principal buyer for the company, traveling to England and France to discover and bring back the finest and most unique in antiques and decorative arts. Elizabeth manages the staff, plans and executes the company's marketing, promotion, and advertising, coordinates client contact, and produces both the direct mail catalogs and the website.
David P. Lindquist, Co-owner and Vice President, is a nationally recognized dealer, lecturer, educator, appraiser, author, and broadcaster with over 40 years of experience in the antiques industry. He is a past president of the National Association of Dealers in Antiques and has written extensively on antique furniture and collectibles.
