Forward Thinking For Your Future
Welcome to The Forty-Ninth State, where we proudly brew our beers using pure glacial water. Our story began in 2010 when we converted a 3 Bay Bus barn in Healy into a brewery and restaurant. We started brewing in small batches, perfecting our recipes before scaling up. Today, we're known for our variety of beers, from the crisp 8 Star Lager to the tropical 907 Pale Ale, and many more. Our commitment to sustainability and using local ingredients reflects our love for Alaska and its community.
Our brewpubs are located in Denali Park and at Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage. We offer a world-class beer selection alongside sustainable Alaska foods in an authentic environment. Visitors can enjoy live music events, including our annual Augtoberfest celebration, which features Bavarian foods and traditional beer garden games. Whether you're a local or just visiting, we invite you to immerse yourself in the 49th state with us.
Our beer lineup includes the 8 Star Lager, a crisp and refreshing frontier-style lager with bready malt notes and hints of noble hops; the Solstice IPA, a citrusy and juicy American IPA with a Citra-forward hop profile; the 907 Pale Ale, a tropical and crisp frontier-style pale ale brewed with Alaskan wheat; the Blonde Eagle Ale, a light, fruity, and malty American blonde ale; and the Nitro McCarthy Stout, a smooth, robust, and roasty nitro dry Irish stout. Each beer is crafted to reflect the unique flavors and spirit of Alaska.
At The Forty-Ninth State, we're passionate about our community and the environment. We repurpose materials whenever possible and support local suppliers to reduce our ecological footprint. Our commitment to sustainability and quality has earned us a reputation as one of Alaska's premier breweries. Come visit us at our brewpubs to experience the best of Alaska's craft beer scene.
