At Dykstra Excavating, we pride ourselves on being a family-owned and operated business with a rich history dating back to 1953. Our story began with Jack Dykstra, a 13-year-old boy who worked on a family farm with his mother in West Michigan. From those humble beginnings, Jack learned the value of hard work and dedication, which eventually led him to invest in his first bulldozer and dump truck with $4000. Today, our company has grown to employ 30 people and an array of experienced subcontractors, with a fleet of over 50 pieces of grading and earthmoving equipment.
