For The Love Of Trees operates from a deep passion for the Pacific Northwest environment and its beautiful, lush urban forest. We pride ourselves on being stewards of Portland's urban forest for over 15 years, continuing to support its legacy with mindfulness, experience, and dedication. We are professionally affiliated with the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) to stay current on the latest developments in tree care. We also support community partners who further the care of our urban forest, such as Friends of Trees and Hoyt Arboretum.

Meet Our Dedicated Team

Jeremy Fry, ISA Certified Arborist (PN-6849A) and owner of For The Love Of Trees, first developed his passion for arboriculture in his Portland backyard. Every year, he meticulously pruned an old apple tree planted by the previous homeowner decades earlier, cherishing the outdoor time and caring for the legacy tree. Jeremy's passion led him to pursue a career in tree care.

He began working professionally with trees over 17 years ago, starting with a local tree service provider in Portland. He gained significant experience by dragging brush, assisting climbing arborists, and eventually becoming a climbing arborist himself. After two years of learning the ropes, Jeremy decided to venture out on his own and established For The Love Of Trees in 2007.
