Our Story

Anvil Barber Co. is a traditional barbershop nestled in the heart of American Fork, Utah. Founded in October 2018 by Drew R. White, a classically trained barber with a deep passion for his craft, Anvil Barber Co. embodies the spirit of old-school barbering with a modern touch. Drew's journey began under the tutelage of Tim Hite, honing his skills in a variety of barbershops throughout Salt Lake and Utah County. Driven by a desire to continually refine his craft, Drew furthered his education, immersing himself in diverse barbering styles and techniques. His dedication led him to become a licensed barber instructor in Utah, mentoring apprentices who have since flourished in the profession.

Anvil Barber Co. is the culmination of Drew's lifelong dream, a space where he could share his love for barbering and provide his clients with a truly personalized experience. To Drew, the anvil represents the barber chair, a place where he transforms and refines each client's look.

• Nick Shurtz: Nick's passion for barbering began at The Paul Mitchell School in Provo. With five years of experience under his belt, three of which spent at Anvil Barber Co., Nick takes immense pride in providing his clients with exceptional haircuts and beard trims tailored to their individual needs. He believes in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for every customer, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best.
• Joe Honomichl: Joe's journey in barbering started right after high school. With over five years of experience, he honed his skills through a traditional apprenticeship program under seasoned barbers in Salt Lake City. He brings a wealth of knowledge in all haircut styles and beard trims, mastering the art of the hot towel shave. Joe joined Anvil Barber Co. in the summer of 2021, bringing his warm personality and dedication to client satisfaction.

• Cody Greenburg: Cody's passion for barbering was ignited in a classic shop where he spent six years observing and learning the nuances of men's grooming. Cody excels at classic cuts and straight razor shaves, confidently handling a wide range of styles from fades to shags, long beards to stubble. He thrives on engaging with his clients, making the experience both enjoyable and informative.
