Our History
Our story began in 1965 when Henry J. Schovajsa and Walter Oeltjen founded the firm. Henry served as Fayette County Judge from 1951-1966, while Walter served as Fayette County Attorney from 1951-1962. After their public service, they decided to open a law firm together, which is now known as Schovajsa, Mayer & Klesel, LLP. Today, the firm is comprised of attorneys Benjamin Wm. Schovajsa, M. Chris Mayer, Hannah E. Bellue, and Shannon M. Raabe.
