*Meagan Dowell, Founder*

Meagan Dowell is a CPA and former tax manager at a large public accounting firm on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. During her time in public accounting, Meagan helped lead the entrepreneurial services practice, which assists entrepreneurs in building and growing their businesses. She also joined the Kansas City Business Journal's NextGen Leaders program in 2018, whose objectives include helping emerging leaders build knowledge and skills, and connecting them to Kansas City peers and leaders.

Meagan was recognized by the Independent Magazine of 2017 Rising Stars and has three fur babies of her own, whom she refers to as her children. It was her passion for caring for dogs with unique needs and personalities that inspired her to start On the Ball, a loving dog daycare in Prairie Village.

Amy I. has been working with dogs for over 15 years and has a learning disability but that doesn't hold her back from accomplishing her goals. She enjoys walking her dog, spending time with her family, and painting when she's not working. Amy loves her job and cannot wait to see her four-legged friends every day.

At On the Ball, we recognize the importance of creating a space that is welcoming, quiet, and calming for dogs. Our space is equipped with a high level of insulation to provide a quiet lobby environment and minimize noise in the play area. We use a signature fragrance that is dispensed through the air system to provide a calming environment and eliminate odors.

We believe that technology can make the check-in and check-out process seamless, which is why all clients create an online profile that stores information on pup and pup parent. Booking and checkout can be completed using their profile, or on-site using multiple tablets.
