DSC Training Academy

At DSC Training Academy, we are dedicated to empowering individuals through workforce development. Our Commercial Truck Driver Training School has been established since 2000, with locations in Greenville, Tupelo, and Jackson, MS. We now operate our sole location at the workforce development center in Jackson, MS. Our founder, Mrs. Willie Jones, envisioned a program that not only provides skills and safety methods but also matches the personal needs of the student with their professional goals and expectations.

We offer a comprehensive training program that consists of 168 total clock hours, including 50 hours of classroom instruction, 45 hours of range training, 45 hours of over-the-road training, and 28 hours of career/employer training. Our program is divided into four phases: Recruitment, Education and Outreach, Didactic training, and Hands-on Training, culminating in Employment.

Our graduates are well-prepared for the job market, equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the transportation industry. We have a strong track record of placing our graduates in high-paying jobs with our premier motor carriers.

In addition to our comprehensive training program, we offer various funding options, including Company Sponsored Training, WIOA Workforce Training, Scholarships, and Affordable Installment Plans. We also provide assistance for Veterans and offer both DAY and NIGHT classes to accommodate different schedules.
