Tri-County Glass Incorporated was started in September 2009 by Kearney natives Larry Hidy and Chris Eynetich. While working for another local company, they recognized an opportunity in the glass industry to start a new business. After careful consideration and planning, Larry and Chris decided to start Tri-County Glass, basing their business on offering value and quality. Quality is the most important aspect of Tri-County Glass.

Within the first year of operation, jobs began to flow in, and the business grew rapidly. Tri-County Glass specializes in commercial work, with projects visible around Kearney, including the Prince of Peace church, City Hall, and several elementary schools such as Bryant, Kenwood, and Central. The company's geographical region has also expanded outside of the Tri-County area, with work visible in McCook, North Platte, and Curtis.

In addition to commercial services, Tri-County Glass offers residential services including window replacement, mirrors, and shower doors. The company also provides auto glass replacement services.
