Welcome to Hero Tattoo, the premier tattoo shop of South Carolina, established in 2006. Our mission has always been to bring superior custom tattooing to the Myrtle Beach and Conway areas, going beyond the typical souvenir shop offerings. Our work is deeply rooted in tradition, while constantly exploring new techniques and equipment to ensure impactful and enduring images.

Hero Tattoo is home to a team of ten highly skilled tattoo artists who specialize in creating completely original designs tailored to each client's preferences. We are more than capable of working with existing designs, reference materials, or ideas from your imagination. Our shop offers a wide range of styles that will make solid tattoos to last a lifetime.

Services Offered

*American Traditional Tattoo*

Our American Traditional style is steeped in the lineage of classic American tattooers, built on a foundation of bold lines, heavy black shading, and a bright yet limited color palette. These tattoos are designed to withstand the test of time, and our application and imagery pay homage to the past.

*Japanese Design Tattoo*

Japanese tattoos are among the most popular styles in tattoo art and are used to convey a person's beliefs, aspirations, or character traits. Our staff is proficient in Japanese styles, whether it's for small or large work.

*Full Sleeve & Back Tattoo*

A full sleeve tattoo typically covers the entire arm from shoulder to wrist, and it's much more intricate than smaller tattoos on the arm. At Hero Tattoo, we consider the entire arm as the canvas for your unique tattoo design.

*Tattoo Aftercare*

We believe that proper tattoo aftercare is essential to maintaining the quality of your new ink. Our aftercare suggestions include leaving the bandage on for 2-6 hours (no more than 8) after getting the tattoo.

Additional Services

Hero Tattoo offers a variety of additional services, including:

• Lettering: We provide script, Old English, and typewriter lettering options so that you can have that readable memory.
• Black & Grey Tattoos: For those who prefer a more subdued look, we create images in black and grey that hold up strongly.
• Portraits: Our experienced artists can create tattoos of your loved ones, pets, and celebrities, among others.
• Coverups: Our team can design a new tattoo to cover unwanted tattoos with a more desirable design.

To make an appointment, we believe that face-to-face communication with an artist is the most effective method. We kindly ask that instead of contacting us through social media, phone conversations, or emails, you visit our shop to discuss your tattoo idea in detail and get specific pricing. We offer free consultations and encourage booking appointments with specific artists in advance.

Hero Tattoo ensures a clean environment and sterile equipment, strictly adhering to the guidelines set by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
