At the Houston Golf Association (HGA), we are dedicated to enriching our community through golf. For over 75 years, we have been committed to preserving the history and legacy of golf in Houston, while also giving back to the youth and families of our great city.

Our Services

As a non-profit organization, HGA offers a range of services to support our mission. Some of the ways we give back to the community include:

• Youth Development: Our junior golf program, First Tee - Greater Houston, helps thousands of young people develop life-skills, such as self-confidence, perseverance, and teamwork, through golf instruction and programming.

• Amateur Golf Competition: Our amateur golf tournaments and events provide a platform for golfers of all skill levels to compete and connect with others who share their passion for the game.

• Facility Maintenance: As the owners and operators of the historic Gus Wortham Golf Course, we are committed to preserving this beloved Houston landmark for future generations.

• Community Outreach: Through our outreach programs and initiatives, we work to increase accessibility and inclusion in the game of golf, promoting diversity and inclusivity in the golfing community.
