Engineering Perspective, founded in 1988, is a unique class of service dedicated to providing exceptional forensic engineering services to its clients. Our team is highly experienced and skilled in various disciplines of engineering, including structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical. We specialize in forensic services, both in the courtroom and in the field, and are renowned for our rapid response to remote sites. Beginning April 3rd, we have partnered with Ganson Weather Group (GWG) to integrate meteorological investigations with forensic engineering, offering a well-balanced combination of meteorological expertise and established forensic engineering investigations.

Our team is led by Carl Martin, a Professional Engineer with extensive knowledge in various disciplines of engineering. Carl founded Engineering Perspective with the belief that he could bring unparalleled services to clients in both traditional bid/build contract services and forensic engineering. He utilizes scientific, defined methodologies with testable and reproducible results to provide expertise in trial review, arbitration, umpiring, and expert testimony.

We also have Nick Martin, our certified drone pilot, who assists in roof evaluations and historic building condition assessments. Denna Lamken is our administrative assistant, handling day-to-day office operations, final editing, and proofreading of engineering reports, as well as invoicing.

Our forensic project job submission process is designed to be efficient and easy. Clients can submit jobs by providing their contact information, claim number, and details about the job. We also provide an option to attach any relevant files.

Our meteorological investigations, in partnership with Ganson Weather Group, provide a comprehensive understanding of weather conditions and their impact on various structures and systems. This service is invaluable for clients seeking to understand how weather events may have contributed to damage or failures.

Our roof assessments are unique and qualitative, providing a diagnostic assessment to determine hail damage. We collect roof samples and then assess the threshold of impact energy required to sustain damage through systematic testing. In addition, we offer standard roof inspections for construction defects, leaks, repairs, and modifications, as well as storm damage. Our licensed drone pilot assists in obtaining aerial views of steep roofs and properties difficult to access.

We also offer arbitration and court services, fire investigation, structural project management, and general forensic investigations. Our team is dedicated to providing expert testimony and evidence in legal proceedings, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible outcome.
