Mission Statement

Brighton Academy is an Independent private school accredited by Cognia, located in Grants Pass, Southern Oregon. We offer Pre-K through high school instruction in a spacious and modern campus, just a few blocks from downtown Grants Pass. Our mission is to inspire academic excellence by developing innovative programs that foster self-discovery, personal initiative, and entrepreneurism. We encourage participation in performing arts, fine arts, and student-run businesses. Our pledge is to encourage individual character growth by pursuing the shared values of integrity, patience, responsibility, graciousness, respect, lightheartedness, and determination. We believe that upholding these values is the means to accomplishing our educational goals.

Philosophy

At Brighton Academy, we believe that every child has a divine plan. Therefore, education should be a process of self-discovery, not a system of external pressures designed to shape rebels and conformists within the status quo. Children should learn from their inner-promptings and natural curiosity, not from social indoctrination and the tactics of conditioning. We provide an environment where every student will have the opportunity to develop an effective balance of character, compassion, competence and completion. Brighton Academy is dedicated to inspiring academic excellence by fostering self-discovery, personal initiative, and entrepreneurism. We uphold the values of integrity, patience, respect, responsibility, determination, and graciousness. Our campus is equipped with security cameras, constant adult supervision, monitored volunteers, and all teacher background checks. We are a private, fully accredited school by Cognia and adhere to a strict code of conduct and dress code. Our parental volunteer policy is designed to foster a strong relationship between the faculty, parents, students, and administration.

Academics

Our academic curriculum is designed to provide opportunities for self-discovery, personal initiative, and entrepreneurism. We offer Pre-K through high school instruction and have a strong focus on performing arts, fine arts, and student-run businesses. Our elementary, middle, and high school programs are tailored to meet the needs of each individual student, and we have an extended day program available. Our faculty is dedicated to providing the best possible educational experience, and we have a strong focus on higher learning and skills development.

Registration

Registration for Brighton Academy is a simple process. We require all students to be up-to-date on their immunizations and to provide necessary documentation during the registration process. Tuition fees vary depending on the grade level and program, and we have a fundraising program in place to help offset the cost of tuition for families in need. We also have a cafe on-site, serving healthy and delicious meals and snacks.
